I am Associate Professor at Department of Veterinary Disease Biology, the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen, Denmark. My University profile can be seen here.

My field of interest is the host-parasite interaction and their evolution with focus on the roundworm (Ascaris) and whipworm (Trichuris) of the pig and humans and the roundworms of dogs and cats (Toxocara canis and T. cati). For further information - see Research areas and Populært.

Interested in Animal Parasitology? Please note that I am running a 15 ECTS course from April to June 2016 at the University of Copenhagen. You will learn about parasites of domestic animals and how to diagnose these. Lots of hands on! See more here.
