Welcome to the homepage for Peter Nejsum!

I have recently moved from University of Copenhagen to Aarhus University and is now professor with special responsibilities at Department of Clinical Medicine.

My group will investigate the role of extracelluar vesicles (exosomes) in host-parasite interactions but will also continue my research on parasite genetics.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or would like to join my group.

For further information - see Research areas and Populært.

Right now…

.... I am in Melbourne on a 3 month stay to analyse smallRNA (miRNA) in EVs samples. Staying with Aaron Jex and his group as well as Robin Gasser and his group - I am really enjoying it!!!

.... I have just got ~ 900,000 Euro to explore the role of extracelluar vesicles in host-parasite communication :-)

.... Eline - our paper "Secretion of RNA-containing extracellular vesicles by the porcine whipworm, Trichuris suis" revices quite some citations :-)
